I have been coming to Pilates for several years now, after being recommended it after having back surgery. Pilates has made by back strong and protects if from further damage. I also love the session - it's the only "me time" I get during the week, away from my young son. It's a time for me to switch off and only concentrate on my breathing and the exercises. Excellent class, excellent teacher!! After a car accident, I was left with a lot of pain in my back and taking a lot of pain relief. Been at this class for over a year - I no longer need pain relief and my core is stronger, which has relieved my back pain. The class members are great - as a man, they made me feel very welcomed.
